We are very pleased to announce our Awarding Panel for the Game Changer Awards.
Universities Scotland and Colleges Scotland are privileged to have the involvement of the Scottish Government in our top tier judging panel as well as high profile figures from Scotland’s cultural and sporting sectors who will use their wide range of experience, expertise, knowledge and skills to award colleges and higher education institutions a gold, silver or bronze winner in our six award categories.
Our four prestigious judges on the Awarding Panel are:
- Michael Russell, MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning
- Dr Bridget McConnell, Chief Executive, Culture & Sport Glasgow and Board Member, Glasgow 2014
- Susan Egelstaff, retired Scottish badminton champion
- Aileen McGlynn, the Scottish paralympic tandem cyclist.
Full details of all our judges can be found on the Game Changer Awards website.
Over the course of the past week, six panels of expert judges have had the unenviable task of narrowing down the field from 110 entries to a shortlist to go on to the final stage of judging.
Our judges will join us in celebrating the winners at the Game Changer Awards dinner and ceremony on Thursday 3 April 2014 at the Old Fruitmarket in Candleriggs, Glasgow. Tickets will go on sale at the end of February.
